This concert is to honor the memory of U.N. diplomat Sergio Vieira de Mello, killed in Iraq togethger with twenty-one other members of his staff. Thiago's CD A Flame in the Dark will be released on that day in memory of all those tragic losses. Special guest singer Ithamara Koorax will perform in this concert. A sold out audience gave a standing ovation at the end of the presentation. Well-known musicians, all of them very Brazilians, who had recorded in the CD, participated in that event. Among them, Haroldo Mauro Jr. and Dlia Fischer on piano; Paulo Russo on bass; Cesar Machado on drums; Flavio Goulart on guitar; Z Carlos "Bigorna" on clarinet, flute and sax and Thiago de Mello on Organic Pertcussion.
