Chicuta's Story
As told by Thiago himself.

"When I was a young boy, in the Amazon, I had a big monkey (macaco barrigudo) who I named Chicuta. He was my favorite pet, among a dog, a cat and others. One day my family went to a pic-nic with some other families across the Black River, near Manaus. I always kept Chicuta tied up on a rope from his waste. One of the kids untied Chicuta from the tree near the river bank. He ran away. I started calling for his name as hard as I could. Everybody else joined me in the search. Chicuta was never found again. He was finally FREE!"
